Please read these terms carefully before using our flight booking services.

1. Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), "we", "us", or "our" refers to FlightsWide UK, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates. "You" refers to the person accessing or using our services, whether as an individual or on behalf of a third party.

Please read these terms carefully before making a booking. By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

The words "include", "including" and similar expressions indicate examples that are not exhaustive. References to "writing" include electronic communications.

2. Scope of Services

FlightsWide UK provides flight search, booking, rescheduling, and refund facilitation services from the United Kingdom to international destinations. Our services include:

  • Flight search and price comparison across multiple airlines
  • Flight booking and ticket issuance
  • Flight rescheduling and date changes
  • Refund request management
  • Group booking services
  • li>Business class and premium economy bookings
  • Travel advisory and general information services

Note: FlightsWide UK acts as an intermediary between travellers and airlines. We do not operate flights. All flights are operated by licensed and ATOL-protected carriers.

3. Booking Terms

3.1 Booking Process

All bookings are subject to availability and airline confirmation. A booking is considered confirmed only when:

  1. A confirmation email has been sent to you containing a valid booking reference
  2. Full payment has been received and processed
  3. The airline has issued the ticket

quotations and search results displayed on our website are indicative and do not constitute a binding offer.

3.2 Accuracy of Information

We strive to ensure all flight information (schedules, prices, baggage allowances) is accurate at the time of display. However, airline schedules and prices may change without prior notice. We will notify you of material changes before or as soon as reasonably practicable after becoming aware.

Important: FlightsWide UK is not responsible for errors in airline-published information, including schedule changes that occur after booking confirmation.

3.3 Booking Requirements

To complete a booking with us, you must:

  • Provide accurate personal details (name as per passport)
  • Provide correct passport information
  • Have a valid payment method
  • Be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent

3.4 Third-Party Bookings

Where we book through third-party suppliers, additional terms from that supplier may apply. We will clearly indicate when third-party terms govern and make them available to you before booking.

3.5 Booking Confirmation

Upon confirmation, we will send you a booking confirmation email including:

  • Your unique booking reference number
  • Full flight itinerary details

4. Pricing & Payments

4.1 Displayed Prices

All prices displayed include taxes, fees, and charges unless explicitly stated otherwise. Prices are per person in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.

Prices are not guaranteed until ticket issuance. The final confirmed price may differ from the initially displayed price due to currency fluctuations, taxes, or fare class changes.

4.2 Price Adjustments

We reserve the right to adjust the price of your booking due to:

  • Currency exchange rate fluctuations
  • Airline fare changes
  • Tax or surcharge changes imposed by governments or airports
  • Corrections to errors

If the price increases by more than 10% from the confirmed price after ticket issuance, we will contact you before processing the difference. A price decrease will be automatically refunded.

3.3 Accepted Payment Methods

We use secure payment processing with 256-bit SSL encryption. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

4.4 Deposits & Full Payment

Some bookings may require a deposit to secure the fare. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation. The balance must be paid by the deadline specified in your confirmation email, or the booking may be subject to cancellation.

4.5 Late Payment

If payment is not received by the specified deadline:

  1. We will send reminders at 48-hour and 24-hour intervals
  2. Failure to pay may result in automatic cancellation
  3. Cancellation fees as outlined in Section 5 will apply

5. Cancellation & Refunds

5.1 Cancellation by You

You may cancel your booking by contacting us via phone, email, or WhatsApp. Cancellation fees depend on:

Refund Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days. Refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Bank transfer refunds may take an additional 3–5 business days.

5.2 Cancellation by Us

We may cancel your booking if:

  • The airline cancels the flight and no suitable alternative exists
  • We cannot fulfil the booking due to circumstances beyond our control
  • li>A material error occurs in the booking process
  • You breach these Terms

In the event of airline cancellation, we will assist with a full refund or offer an equivalent alternative flight at no extra cost.

5.3 Airline Refunds

Airline refund policies vary by carrier and fare type. We will advise you of the applicable policy when processing your refund. Airline processing times (typically 14–30 days) are outside our control.

5. Unused Tickets

Unused flight tickets have no residual value. We cannot claim refunds from airlines for no-shows or partially used tickets unless the airline permits otherwise.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

As a passenger, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring passport validity (6+ months from return date)
  • Obtaining all required visas and travel documents
  • Arriving at the airport on time for check-in
  • Complying with airline and airport regulations
  • Providing correct information during booking
  • Having appropriate travel insurance

Important: FlightsWide UK is not liable if you are denied boarding due to invalid documents or failure to meet entry requirements.

7. Baggage Policies

Baggage allowances are determined by the airline and fare class. We will provide the applicable allowance at the time of booking. Allowances may change at the airline's discretion.

Excess baggage charges are set by the airline and payable at the airport. We recommend checking your specific ticket for exact allowances.

8. Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously and comply with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (UK GDPR). Key points:

  • We collect only data necessary for providing our services
  • Your data is encrypted and securely stored
  • We never sell personal data to third parties for marketing
  • You can request a copy of your data at any time
  • You have the right to request data deletion (subject to legal obligations)

9. Limitation of Liability

Important — please read carefully:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlightsWide UK shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your travel
  • Losses caused by airline actions beyond our control (schedule changes, delays, cancellations)
  • Losses due to force majeure events (strikes, natural disasters, pandemics)
  • Any loss resulting from inaccurate information you provide
  • Losses from decisions you make based on our informational content (blog posts, guides)

Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a UK resident, you may have additional statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

For disputes, we encourage you to first contact us at support@flightswideuk.co.uk. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) or the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified to you via email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We recommend checking this page occasionally for updates. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
